Same Day Cut-Off for Suburb
Set a same-day cut-off time for each delivery suburb so customers can only order same-day delivery when you`ve actually got time to make and send it. Once the cut-off passes for a postcode, customers ordering for that suburb are automatically moved to the next available delivery day.
What you can do here
- Set a different same-day cut-off time for each suburb or postcode you deliver to.
- Stop last-minute orders coming in for suburbs that are too far or too busy to reach in time.
- Give customers a clear, automatic next-day option once the cut-off has passed.
- Adjust cut-off times any time your delivery routes or capacity change.
Step by step
- In your dashboard, go to Settings and select Delivery Options.
- Open Delivery Suburb Postcode.
- Find the suburb or postcode you want to set a cut-off for.
- Enter the same-day cut-off time for that suburb, then save your changes.
- Repeat for any other suburbs that need a different cut-off time.
- Check your live website to confirm the cut-off is working as expected.
Tips
- Give yourself enough buffer time before the cut-off to prepare and dispatch orders comfortably.
- Set earlier cut-offs for suburbs that are further away or harder to reach.
