Go People is a same-day courier service you can connect to your Flower Store In a Box account to book and track deliveries directly from your dashboard.
Before you start, sign up with Go People and request an API key from them via email.
- Go to your website dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > Courier Settings.
- Tick the box labelled Use Go People.
- Enter your API Key in the field provided.
- Enter your store contact name (this is shown to delivery drivers).
- Enter your store phone number.
- Click Update Courier Settings.
Booking a courier for an order
- Open the order from your dashboard.
- Click Book Courier. A window will appear showing the delivery address and pickup location options.
- Select your pickup address from the dropdown and click the button to continue.
- Go People will display a list of available delivery options with estimated times and costs.
- Choose your preferred option and confirm.
The order status on your dashboard will update to Couriered and a Go People logo will appear on the order. Click the logo at any time to access live tracking.
All updates from Go People are automatically saved in the order messages for future reference.
