When someone shares a page from your website to social media, you can control which image appears in the preview. There are three types of pages you can configure: your main site, product categories, and individual products.
To set the default image that appears when someone shares your homepage or a page that has no specific image assigned:
This image will be used as the fallback for any page that does not have its own sharing image set.
Each product category can have its own sharing image. To set one:
That image will be used automatically when someone shares that category page.
You can also manage category sharing images from Design Dashboard > Social Media Images.
From there, view the report, click the category name you want to update, and upload the social media image for that category.
For individual products, no extra setup is needed. The main product image is already used as the social media sharing image by default.
