Free Delivery Coupon

You can offer free delivery by creating a discount coupon and tagging it as a free delivery coupon. When a customer enters the code at checkout, the order summary displays "Free Delivery" instead of a delivery charge.

How it works

Instead of setting a percentage or fixed dollar amount off, you tag the coupon specifically as a free delivery coupon. The delivery cost is waived when the customer applies the code.

Create a free delivery coupon

  1. Log in to your store admin.
  2. Go to the coupons section.
  3. Create a new coupon.
  4. Set the coupon type to Free Delivery rather than a percentage or amount discount.
  5. Set any other options such as expiry date or usage limits.
  6. Save the coupon.

How customers use it

  1. The customer adds items to their cart.
  2. They enter the coupon code in the shopping cart or at checkout.
  3. The order summary updates to show Free Delivery.

Other free delivery options

Coupons are one of several ways to offer free delivery. The other options are:

  • Zero-cost delivery location - Set the delivery cost to zero for specific suburbs or postcodes. This still allows same-day cut-off times and delivery area limits.
  • Free delivery for a product - Apply free delivery to a specific product with a valid date range.
  • Free delivery for a product category - Apply free delivery to all products in a category with a valid date range.
