Redeemable Credit Notes
Redeemable Credit Notes are single-use codes you can give out for customers to sign up and get a once-off store credit, rather than a discount applied directly at checkout.
What you can do here
- Generate single-use codes for customer signup rewards
- Give a customer a once-off credit instead of a discount at checkout
- Run win-back campaigns for lapsed customers
- Reward referrals
- Compensate a customer without processing a refund
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Marketing & SEO > Marketing Tools > Redeemable Credit Notes.
- Create a new credit note and set the credit amount.
- Generate the single-use code and share it with the customer, for example as a signup incentive.
- Once redeemed, the credit is added to the customer`s account.
- The credit is automatically applied on their next order, rather than reducing the price of the order they redeem it on.
Tips
- Use these for signup offers, win-back campaigns or referral rewards
- Remember the credit applies to a future order, not the one where the code is redeemed
- These codes are single-use, so each one can only be redeemed once
Ask the assistant
