Deleting a product removes it from your live catalogue when it`s discontinued or no longer sold. It`s kept out of customers` sight without affecting past orders.
What you can do here
- Remove a product from your live storefront
- Recover a recently deleted product if you change your mind
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Products .
- Find the product you want to remove.
- Click Delete and confirm when prompted.
- The product is removed from the live site immediately.
Tips
- Deleted products are moved to a trash area rather than wiped completely, so an accidental delete can usually be undone contact support if you need one restored.
- If a product is just out of season, consider marking it out of stock instead of deleting it that way you keep its history and can bring it back easily.
- Deleting a product doesn`t affect orders already placed for it.
