Update SMS notification on order
SMS order notifications let you automatically send a text message to your customer as soon as they place an order. This feature is available on Premium plans and above, and is currently available in Australia.
What you can do here
- Turn on an automatic SMS that sends to your customer when they place an order.
- Write your own message, including your website name so customers know who it`s from.
- Check how much SMS notifications cost and how they`re billed.
- Attach a delivery photo to your notifications for extra reassurance.
Step by step
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Go to Settings then Notifications.
- Under On Customer Order, turn on SMS Order Notifications.
- Type your message in the Delivery SMS Message field.
- Save your settings.
Tips
- The SMS now sends automatically as soon as a customer places an order, not when it`s marked delivered.
- Each SMS costs $0.10. Messages are billed monthly to your saved card.
- Include your website name in the sms so that the customer knows where it is from.
- You can use the Order ID variable to automatically include the order number in each SMS message.
