Assigning Deliveries to Drivers
Getting orders to the right driver is easy, whether you like to keep things simple or want more control over who delivers what.
What you can do here
- Send ready orders straight to your driver app with one click
- Assign specific orders to specific drivers
- Make sure each driver only sees the deliveries meant for them
Step by step
- Simple workflow: Go to Orders > View Pending, find the order and mark it as "Ready for Pickup". It will automatically appear in the driver app for any available driver to pick up.
- Advanced workflow: Go to Workflow > Order Workflow. If you want to choose the driver yourself, assign the order directly to them.
- Before assigning, check that the driver`s profile is marked as a driver and set to active in the system.
- Once assigned, the delivery will appear only for that driver when they log in.
Tips
- Use the simple workflow when you`re happy for any active driver to take the next available delivery
- Use the advanced workflow when a delivery needs a particular driver, like for a regular customer or a tricky location
- Double check a driver`s profile is active if their assigned deliveries aren`t showing up
