Manage Orders, Workflow & Notifications

Advanced Workflow Overview

The Advanced Workflow is designed for shops that use multiple team members to make orders and multiple drivers for deliveries. It lets you assign each order to a specific florist and a specific driver, giving you full visibility over who is doing what.

How the Advanced Workflow moves an order

  1. Order is received.
  2. Order is allocated to a store or florist.
  3. Florist makes the order.
  4. Order is marked as waiting for pickup.
  5. Driver is booked.
  6. Driver picks up the order.
  7. Order is delivered.

How this differs from the Simple Workflow

The Simple Workflow suits single-location shops with one person handling fulfilment. It moves orders through fewer steps: received, printing or making, waiting for pickup, picked up, delivered.

The key difference with Advanced is that you can assign an order maker and choose a driver at each stage. This matters when you have a team.

Hybrid configuration

You do not have to use Advanced for everything. You can mix the two approaches. For example, you might have one florist who makes all orders but run multiple drivers organised as a Morning Driver and an Afternoon Driver. Set up whichever combination fits how your shop actually runs.

Automated customer notifications

The platform sends SMS and email alerts to customers automatically at key points in the workflow:

  • Order placement confirmation
  • Order available for pickup
  • Driver en route
  • Delivery completed
  • Pre-order delivery window reminder

Plan requirement

The Advanced Workflow is included on the $99.95/month plan. If you are on a legacy or starter plan at $49.95/month, you will need to upgrade to access this feature.
