Adding existing customers to member levels
Already got customers in your system? No worries, you can pop them into a member level any time so they start getting the discounts or perks that come with it.
What you can do here
- Assign an existing customer to a member level
- Have their new level`s discounts or benefits apply automatically on future orders
- Set up rules so new customers qualify for a level automatically, instead of doing it manually one by one
Step by step
- Go to Dashboard > Customers
- Search for and open the customer`s profile
- Click on edit profile and assign them to the relevant members level
- Save
Tips
- Once assigned, that customer automatically receives whatever discount or benefit is tied to their level on future orders
- If you want new customers to qualify for a level automatically based on rules (like total spend), rather than assigning them manually one at a time, check out the Automated member loyalty Settings article
Ask the assistant
You can also get the assistant to sort this out for you. Try asking things like:
- "Assign [customer name] to our [level name] member level"
- "Show me [customer name]`s current member level"
- "Set up automatic member levels based on customer spend"
