Accepting Payment

Setup & Manage Stripe

Stripe lets you accept credit card payments securely on your website. It`s one of the most popular payment gateways and supports a wide range of cards and currencies.

What you can do here

  • Connect your Stripe account to your website using your API keys.
  • Set a surcharge percentage to pass card processing fees on to customers.
  • Choose your Stripe country and enable extra checkout security if you`re in the EU.

Step by step

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Options > Stripe in your dashboard.
  2. Tick Use Stripe to enable it as a payment option.
  3. Enter your Stripe Secret API Key and Stripe Public API Key, found in your Stripe account dashboard.
  4. Enter a surcharge percentage if you want to pass on card fees (for example, 2.5).
  5. Select your Stripe country.
  6. If you`re in the EU and need Strong Customer Authentication, enable Stripe STCA and add the required webhook in your Stripe account.
  7. Save your settings.

Tips

  • Test with a small order first to confirm payments are processing correctly before relying on it for live sales.
  • Keep your Secret API Key private never share it outside your Stripe and website settings.
  • You can find your API keys under Developers > API Keys in your Stripe dashboard.
