Credit Card Attempts
This screen shows failed payment attempts at checkout and lets you configure protection against card testing fraud.
What you can do here
- Set limits on failed attempts
- Reduce exposure to fraudulent card testing
- Delete Checkout: when enabled, the checkout is automatically deleted after the maximum number of failed payment attempts has been reached
Step by step
- Go to Settings > Checkout Settings > Credit Card Attempts .
- Configure the failed attempt threshold to suit your store.
- Turn on Delete Checkout if you`d like checkouts automatically deleted once the maximum number of failed payment attempts has been reached.
Tips
- A sudden spike in failed attempts is often a sign of card testing check this screen if you notice unusual activity.
