Uploading a Logo to the New Themes
Your logo is one of the first things customers notice, so it`s worth getting it looking sharp on your store. Here`s how to upload or update your logo on the new themes.
What you can do here
- Upload a new logo or replace your current one
- Remove the background from your logo image using the built-in AI background remover
- Make sure your logo displays at the right size, not too small or squeezed
Step by step
- Go to Design Dashboard > Logo
- Select update logo and upload your image
- If your logo has a background you want to remove, use the AI background remover available in the dashboard
- Before saving, check that there`s no extra space around the logo in your image file, as this makes it display correctly and stops it looking too small on your site
- Save your changes and preview your store to see the new logo in place
Tips
- Crop your logo image tightly before uploading so there`s no blank space around it
- Use the AI background remover if your logo has a busy or coloured background you want gone
- A square or landscape logo usually works best on the new themes
- Preview your store after uploading to make sure the logo looks the right size
