Update Content and Images on New Themes
Once you`ve updated your theme, you can jump straight into personalising each page. Just view the page on your website, click the Edit Page Template button, and you`re taken into the design builder where you can update content, swap out images, remove anything you don`t want, or add new design elements.
What you can do here
- Open any page on your live site and edit its template directly
- Update text, headings and product details
- Swap out images for your own photos
- Remove sections or elements you don`t need
- Add new design elements to build out the page
- Preview your changes before they go live
Step by step
- Go to the page on your website you want to update
- Click the Edit Page Template button
- Update the content, swap images, remove anything you don`t want, or add new design elements
- Preview the changes to see how they look live
- Once you`re happy with the changes, click Publish so they go live on your site
Tips
- Preview your changes before publishing so you know exactly how they`ll look
- Keep your images consistent in size and style for a tidy, professional look
- Remember to click Publish, otherwise your changes won`t show up on the live site
- Update one page at a time so you can check everything looks right before moving on
