Managing Your Store Information

Block dates

Block dates let you close off specific dates so customers can`t select them for delivery or in-store pickup. This is handy for public holidays, days you`re closed, or any date you simply can`t fulfil orders.

1. Start by Clicking "Orders" in your left hand menu.

2. Then Click "View Pending" in your left hand menu.

3. Click the button for "Block Dates"

4. You can add a single block date by clicking "Add Blocked Date" or a range of dates by clicking "Add Multiple Block Dates"

5. Enter a reason that this date is blocked (this is for your reference only)

6. Select the date you wish to block

7. If you would like to still allow people to order for in store pickup , check the box.

8. Click Saves Changes

Tips

  • Block dates well ahead of public holidays or planned closures so customers aren`t caught out
  • Use the reason field to keep track of why each date is blocked, especially if more than one person manages your store
  • Need to block every Saturday and Sunday rather than one-off dates? Check out the Block all Saturdays and Sundays article instead

Ask the assistant

You can also ask the assistant to handle this for you. Try something like:

  • "Block 25 December for delivery and pickup"
  • "Block dates from 24 to 26 December"
  • "Block next Monday but still allow in-store pickup"
