Workflow Settings

Workflow Settings let you configure how orders are allocated, managed and tracked throughout the delivery process. These settings help streamline your workflow and automate notifications for florists and drivers.

What you can do here

  • Turn on Advanced Workflow to manage multiple drivers and florists
  • Set a default florist and default driver for new orders
  • Automatically move orders to Driver Pickup once a courier is booked
  • Let florists book their own drivers or couriers
  • Control email and SMS notifications for drivers and florists

Step by step

  1. Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Workflow Settings.
  2. If you use multiple drivers or florists, turn on Use Advanced Workflow so orders can be assigned across your team.
  3. Choose a Default Florist and Default Driver so every order has someone assigned automatically, even if you haven`t chosen one yourself.
  4. Turn on On Courier Booking, Move to Driver Pickup Automatically if you want orders to update without manual status changes.
  5. Decide whether florists can book their own drivers or couriers, or whether this should stay with authorised users only.
  6. Switch on the driver and florist email and SMS notifications you want for order allocation.
  7. Turn on Sort by Delivery Date (Pending) if you`d like pending orders prioritised automatically.
  8. Enable Advanced Edit if you need access to extra order management options.
  9. Save your changes.

Tips

  • Setting a default florist and driver saves time and stops orders slipping through without an owner.
  • SMS notifications get delivery details to your drivers faster than email, which is handy for last-minute changes.
  • If you have a small team, you may not need Advanced Workflow at all it`s really built for businesses juggling multiple drivers or florists.
