Go to Dashboard > Settings > Checkout Options and find the Localisation Country Settings section.
Turn on Remove State from Checkout. Use this if your country does not use states or provinces as part of an address.
If you use Afterpay, State must remain visible on your checkout, otherwise Afterpay will not work. You will see a warning on the Afterpay settings screen if this conflicts.
