The next step is to create a web page for each of your keywords specifically written to improving the search engine ranking of your website and the keyword.
Each of these new webpages will contain content appropriate to your keyword, some images, headings and links to other pages. The keyword pages will be linked to the rest of your website content but hidden, either by being linked in the Sitemap or through an invisible link on every page of your website.
Start off by adding a new page and using the Section Template in Myweblogin Called Summary. If you do not have a section tempalte called summary contact your web designer to create one, or create a simple one yourself in:
Site Settings >> Section Templates >> Add New Section
The title of the page should start with the keyword(s) you are targeting on this page, so if the keyword is Travel to London, then the page title should be something like Travel to London and discover the real London.
Enter a filename for the page and add the page to Myweblogin.
The content of the page is specially written for the search engines, although it must still be useful for a user who has visited the page. The following points are important to consider when writing the content for the page:
These pages are not part of the “main website” and will predominantly be used by people searching for your website and the search engines themselves, so it is important to have an action for the web user to follow IE:
Travel to London, book accommodation
By using Myweblogin all of your Keyword Rich Web pages will be listed in the section menu ensuring that the site is easily indexable by the search engines.
For each of your keyword(s), create a new Keyword Rich Webpage and follow the same process. When you have finished, publish the new pages to your Live Site and go onto the next step.
